Hello fellow permies!

I am part of a permaculture design certification course and I feel a little lost and overwhelmed with all the knowledge out there. I didn't even know what permaculture was a few weeks ago! I was wondering if I could get some sage advice from the more experienced permies.

To keep things short, I am currently working on a farm makeover plan project. The farm is based in Kelowna, BC, Canada, which means a humid continental climate. I need help creating tree guilds for these specific trees:

* Common Hackberry
* Freedom Japanese Elm
* Green Alder
* Laurel Leaf Willow
* Manchurian Apricot
* Shagbark Hickory
* Siberian Crab Apple
* Silver Maple
* Western Chokeberry
* White Birch

Any information, tips, or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen Hackberry & Chokecherry (never heard it called western Chokeberry before, but that's what came up when I googled it.) seeds on Etsy, though I haven't bought from that site. If you're looking for actual trees, though, you're probably going to have to try somewhere else.

They weren't very bright, but they were very, very big. Ad contrast:
