Hello,
My name is Robert Corbett, I'm originally from Santa Monica, Ca. and I've been up in the Santa Barabara area helping out at a local non-profit fellowship, and now I'm looking to stay. I would love to find a work trade situation here in the Santa Barbara area, either Work Trade on a farm or house / Intentional Community or House Sitting.
assist with some audio editing for a CD release, and fell in Love with the area.
Would love to see if I can get a job here and find some alternative housing. ... willing to stay in a guest house, cabin or trailer... and trade _X_ amount of hours of work for stay ...
I've been up here editing audio for a CD of some talks for the local fellowship,
I have some good job options opening up, just don't have enough to start the renting process right now...
I have two other communities wanting me for work trade in San Diego and Ojai, but I want to see if I can stay in Santa Barbara. With over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, I'm looking for work in post production editing and sound mixing, live sound mixing, or TV production doing sound (resume available)
I have extensive references upon request from the fellowship and community members here in SB and LA : )

Robert

Hello Robert,

I wish you the best of luck on your search for community in Santa Barbara. I am going to San Diego in August of this year and I am hoping to find a community to share a work-trade agreement with. You said in your post you have contacts with communities there. Are you willing to share those contacts or the names of the places where they are looking for individuals? I want to work-trade, offer the skills I have from wwoofing on several farms and learn from and with those I live with.

Un gran abrazo,

Jules Grace
