Hello, we have been homesteading for several years and recently moved to a much larger property where we are totally starting over! yay!
our previous property had a great 4 season greenhouse we designed/built to grow food year round, a lot of automated systems, great chicken and turkey houses. The new property came with.. a house and some old sheds. we have put up over 1000 feet of fencing, turned one shed into a great chicken house and harvested our first set of turkeys ( that moved with us) we also have our first 3 rabbits growing out and are getting sheep in the next few weeks. we are trying to get a pole building built and will be integrating a greenhouse in that structure. the spring will be busy building out the garden. we have a bit of incidental water on our property and will be using that for irrigation.
I have been reading a bit on this site for a while and signed up for more knowledge. sheep will be a big step for us. if anyone is interested in acquiring a few Navaho churro sheep, we will have some available in Jan.
