Lets try this again...

Hello all.  Been a while since i have been on here.

In the process of building a Hobbit Home, plans all drawn up, engineered, build permit in hand, problem is... where to put the rocket mass heater and its chimney ?

The architect did not include it in the drawings and now i have to find a spot for it.  In the attached pictures, i have 2 choices.

1. Try to fit it in between the right hand side window and the front porch roof, avoiding the support post and the supporting wall for the main house I beam ( the building inspector says i can move the windows " a bit " latterly, but the windows are centered on the front gardens as well...

2. Put the chimney through the wall in between a set of windows - adding a mini window well kind of thing too hold the dirt back.  Mass heater would be moved to along the wall for no overhead piping...

Already planning on installing a fresh air intake pipe under footings and coming up inside one of the window wells.

My progress can be viewed by googling "undergroundandlovinit"  in quotations.

Any thoughts on putting a chimney through an earthen berm other than a window well kind of thing  ?
