Seeking a man to join me in south central Pennsylvania

Woman, 51, union construction worker with a small acreage looking for a partner to join me in my endeavor. Looking for someone who can be a true partner to me.

Plans are to make the land more productive, a farmette with a produce stand and greenhouses. Location is 15 minutes away from an interstate and has amazing views. The land is a mix of fields, some woods and a stream. This is a small acreage that is 2-3 hours away from Pittsburgh, State College and the DMV area, in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I have plans to build a house are in the future, this is very exciting! Backup systems will be in place with plans for a solar array. Also the internet here is good and very reliable.

Values in line with Unitarian Universalist Assembly, to give a general idea of what I find important, with a very libertarian socialist bent. And I’m a very spiritual person however I a, fine with atheism also. I am vaccinated against Covid, this is a non negotiable for me. Diet is omnivore and I garden, have fruit trees and a small vineyard started.

Your ideas are energizing.  And a lot of work lol. I am realizing one can only do so much in a day.  

I have a farm outside of Houston. Have you ever thought of having a northern and southern place?

No thank you. Texas is way too warm and I like the regulatory history here, especially in regards to energy production, building codes and personal freedom.

Your place looks awesome. Hope it all works out for you. I am a 53yo male. I have had a dream of living off grid for a while now. I too live in Texas but looking for cooler weather. lol. I have been looking at Alaska for many many years now. Not only wanting to live off grid but also to live a sustenance lifestyle. Maybe more off the grid than you are going for. I totally get where you're coming from and what you are about. I too have some of the same ideas. Like I said mine was a little more isolated but still not required. You being an omnivore type, so I am sure you're not opposed to wild game? Being from Texas I am a hunter and fisherman. Just an all-around outdoorsman. Love being outdoors but here in Texas it's just way too hot. I want to say you get used to it but that's not the case. You just adapt to it. Either way. The off the grid lifestyle has always intrigued me I too hope I can get there some day.
