Just wondering if anyone on here is considering looking for land in Tasmania....we're starting to consider selling our almost-20 acres of farmland in between Stanley & Wynyard in NW Tas, as we're in a very different space to when we bought it at the end of 2019 & I am under too much stress I think to continue with the plans we had.

Beautiful pasture, rural views of rolling hills & trees & views out to the sea & the 'nut' at Stanley.  > 1000mm annual rainfall, few frosts, few really hot days in summer, has been used for grazing for past few years, one section cropped back in 2018 or 2019 before we bought it.  Small spring fed creek & 2 dams, some blackwoods (Acacia) & tree ferns & few other things in that area but otherwise pasture.  Borders the highway but access from the side dirt road.  Driveway up to a gravelled building site completed at the beginning of the year.  Only a few kms from Rocky Cape NP which is an absolutely gorgeous coastal park with tons of wildflowers in springtime & gorgeous water, beaches also nearby.  The property goes from about 40m to 90m above sea level.  Soils are a bit variable but mostly the red soils you see in this part of the state.  Soil tests & water tests were done before we bought it.  We got a soil test near the building site where we thought we might grow veg & got advice on amendments from Steve Solomon.
Lovely neighbours across the dirt road who have an organic property; we would still be on one side of the property; and there is a dairy farmer on the other side.
I'm not organised right now with photos as they're on another computer but still thought I would put it out there & see if there is any interest, I'll get back to you with those later...
