Glacial Lakes Permaculture is pleased to announce that we will be offering a full permaculture design course through distance education starting in January 2013. The course is ideally suited for students who are unable to attend a conventional 2-week PDC in person due to cost, time, or other constraints.

Students will be able to work at their own pace and interact with other students and the instructor on-line. No complicated software is required, only a good working knowledge of the internet and the ability to use e-mail including uploading attachments. If you're familiar with a Facebook-type platform, you won't have any trouble.

Cost is US$500, with a US$75 discount available to students who have taken Glacial Lakes Permaculture's Introduction to Permaculture Weekend course. Students will need to order the course text separately (approx. US$30 extra).

Participants in this on-line PDC who complete all requirements will be awarded a Permaculture Design Certificate by Glacial Lakes Permaculture.

Contact Us if you have questions or would like to enroll. You can also visit our website: http://glaciallakespermaculture.org/permaculture_design_courses_pdc

"I thoroughly enjoyed taking the...permaculture design course from Karl. He covered a vast range of topics yet was able to illustrate the threads that connected them all. I now feel confident about going ahead and doing the many things we learned in the classes on my own, and considering myself a permaculturist!" -- Crystal H., Sioux Falls, SD
