This experiment might well be worth your while if you, like me, are curious to see how much truth biodynamic farming holds: http://www.considera.org/2013planting.html

These days are mostly specifically BAD days to plant: perigees, Mercury nodes, eclipses, etc. If the biodynamic calendar is accurate, you should be able to verify results by intentionally planting during some of these days.

Here is what Maria Thun claims happened when she planted on Mercury node days: http://books.google.cz/books?id=PR9zw4ukqv4C&pg=PA40&lpg=PP1&dq=biodynamic&hl=cs [pg 40]

Even if you don't participate directly in this, some of you might be interested in the results.

I would be nice if someone participating in the experiment would update this thread when the time comes to get results.

I might be able to do this if/when there's a 2014 version. By then I should have things set up to where I can start being careful about when we plant. This year we were going to start doing some seeding by the calendar and see how it works.

Hi. Experiments with animals have immediate results. Paddocks sprayed with BD 500 are like magnets to cows. I've seen this over 15yrs of BD. Demeter Australia's magazine 'Biodynamic Growing' publishes case studies & growing experiments regularly.
Goodluck!

We've gotta get close enough to that helmet to pull the choke on it's engine and flood his mind! Or, we could just read this tiny ad:
