White African sorghum.

Good evening folks. I wanna find out if any of you all have grown some of the White African sorghum and the history of it. I've heard it was a mighty versatile plant being used for syrup, animal feed, etc after it was brought from South Africa in the 1860s. Please share me your experience with the sorghum on this forum and we'll go from here. Ciao!
