That's the exact book I always recommend to all newbie mushroom growers, I've been using it since the month it was first published. "Mycelium Running" is excellent, too. For spawn, I always recommend Field and Forest Products in Wisconsin. Their spawn is freshly made to order and they carry several different strains of oysters and shiitake. They also give lots of free advice to help get you started and their free paper catalog has lots of info for growers that's not on their website catalog. GGMM is a most excellent book! One would be hard pressed to find a better one {thumbup}
