To all experienced permies out there:

I am working for a non-profit organization called ECOFARMS Panama, which is located in a wonderful valley near Chepo, in the east of Panama. ECOFARMS Panama is a grassroots educational and developmental platform that brings together students, professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts. Working together with the community, we strive to improve both the quality of life of local people and the overall health of the environment in the Mamoni River by developing and implementing responsible farming and conservation techniques.

We are currently and constantly searching for a permie who wants to join our project and introduce permaculture strategies in the area. We are located next to the Mamoni River and really close (appr.200meters) to a 25 hectare primary rainforest. The garden area is about 1 hectare, but can be expanded. The whole project area is 5o hectares. Last year we had a permie from germany working with us, who implemented the chicken rotation system. Now we would like to work with someone who stays with us more than just some weeks (appr.3 month, but flexible) . Unfortunately, we cannot pay a salary, but food and accomodation in our "El Tamarindo" Lodge will be provided.

So if there is someone that has already working experience in the tropics, or is already really experienced and wants to implement permaculture practices in the tropics please contact me. My Email is : corinna.bruder@ecofarmspanama.org
I would love to hear from you soon,

Corinna

No matter how many women are assigned to the project, a pregnancy takes nine months. Much longer than this tiny ad:
