I come today with some interesting data. You might think this is silly, but considering that company s buys all patents and they discard what is not "profitable " for them, this data
should be further investigated.
This post fits in various topics of
permaculture as an holistic approach. But i decided to put this to get the attention since is relevant.
You might read about it in the book (link below) page 91
"Calvin has calculated that a chlorophyll photo-element with an area
of ten square meters could yield a kilowatt of power"
"wherein he discovered that plant chlorophyll under the influence
of the sun's rays can give up electrons to a semiconductor such as
zinc oxide. Melvin and his co-workers created a "green photo-element,"
which produced a current of approximately 0.1 micro-amperes per square
centimeter. After several minutes, said the Soviet
magazine, the plant
chlorophyll becomes desensitized or "exhausted," but its life could be
extended by the addition of hydroquinone to the salt solution which acts
as an electrolyte. The chlorophyll seems to act as a kind of electron
pump passing electrons from the hydroquinone to the semiconductor"
This tech supposed to be freely available in 2000, when this was being researched at same time that the
solar panels we got today. Much has been hidden from us. We have lost many great technology improvements to allow normal people to become more self-sufficient instead of enslaving them more!.
Since
permaculture is based on scientific approach.
This might help to expand the horizons
Long forgotten research done in the 70th, hidden as
permaculture movement was back in time. And declared top secret research by Mussolini in W.W. 2.
