I found this video on YouTube, and thought I would share. The amount of skill these women shows are amazing. It also has me wondering if a similar build can be done with materials we find here in America?  I was thinking maybe willow?

Wow. That is some stunning design and execution. Especially the apex thatch! What a neat trick.

Māori vernacular building makes use of lots of woven panels, but the framing tends to be post and pole-based.
