Land is going up for sale here in SW Washington in ever maddening volumes. 3 of the 4 properties adjacent to mine are for sale, and perhaps 15-20 properties within 3-5 miles are available.

My property is just an hour from Portland Oregon and 1.5 hrs from Olympia (by car). About 70 acres adjacent to mine are for sale and primed for ecovillage development, CSA and Food Forest production. Ive posted photos of some of the acreage here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=109850&id=542063253&l=42391d0c58 and will be posting more.

Ive also posted a partnerhip prospectus for the purchase and consolidation into an 85 ac. ownership on my website:

http://www.abundancepermaculture.com/papers.html

a total investor package of about $1.1M will purchase and place solid infrastructure on 85 acres of land, priming it to become an Ecovillage & Permaculture Education Centre. Over 15 acres are shovel ready for CSA/Food Forest while the rest is already in diverse timber production. The water supply here is ridiculous- I have 90 gallons a minute at 50lbs pressure, and there are 3 year round streams flowing through the property which can run microhydro power generation. I propose developing a non profit to lease the property and develop it, potentially as a trust, using a model similar to OAEC/Sowing Circle's very successful partnership in Occidental California:

Please drop me a line at abundancepc at gmail dot com if you have questions about this opportunity; If you ask questions here it may be a little while before I reply since my internet time is very limited and I dont log on to this site often enough!

peace
