We are selling our home in the Vancouver, BC, Canada area, in North Delta. The lot is just under 4/5 of an acre. There is a steep ravine in the backyard, and plenty of forested area on the property. There is also a large flat area that gets full sun. I'd love for someone interested in gardening and permaculture to buy it. It has:

Approx 1000 sqft partially renoed rancher
Huge back deck looking out onto the forest
Large 10x12 greenhouse
5 4ftx4ftx10ft yellow cedar raised beds, made of rough sawn 2x4s, with drip irrigation
Multiple large areas with great soil and full sun
Native wildflowers
Many berries, pawpaw trees, and other fruit trees
Perennial vegetables (asparagus, solomon's seal, hostas, etc)
Lots of wildlife: owls, raccoons, skunks, birds, snakes, tons of bees, dragonflies, bats. No bears or deer.
Local arborist who would love to keep dropping off wood chips

The only reason we are selling is to be closer to family as they age. If someone interested in gardening/permaculture buys it I would be happy to show them where everything has been planted and what I've learned about the land.

List price is 998k, which may seem nuts to many but is very cheap for a detached house in the GVA. If you're like me and have roots here but dream of a rural property this might be for you.

Send me a message if you want to know more. There's been a lot of interest already so it's probably too late to post it here, but thought I'd give it a shot.

It's a pleasure to see superheros taking such an interest in science. And this tiny ad:
