We are building our worm-based septic system (based on vermicompostingtoilets.net which is a fantastic resource) now, WITH the go-ahead from our state! I published our first blog post about it today. Not much info on building yet, just a wee intro and the info that we got the conditional permit. I'll be following up with build photos. The permit took 2 years; hopefully the build will be faster!

I will likely see questions faster on the blog than on this forum...
