What do people think about placing the burner and feed unit in a cellar with exhaust up into bench seat in room above?

Would most of the heat be transferred from the riser, so would that have to be in the room above as well?
Would this mean extremely high temperature conduit through floor?
I don't mind using some heat to raise ambient heat in cellar, but not by too much.

Any thoughts/ advice?

Thanks
