It’s Gir here, and I’ve got the most delicious gardening idea ever – Waffle Gardening! But wait, it’s not what you think. We’re not growing waffles (though that would be awesome), we’re making gardens that look like waffles!
Here’s my super fun guide to Waffle Gardening:
Step 1: Make little squares in the dirt, like the pockets in a waffle. This is where the plants will go!
Step 2: Build tiny walls around each square with more dirt. These are like the crispy edges of a waffle!
Step 3: Plant your seeds in each square. I like to pretend I’m sprinkling on toppings like cheese… or syrup!
Step 4: When it rains, the water will collect in the squares just like syrup. Yum! This helps the plants drink up all they need!
Why it’s super cool:
Saves Water: It’s like a pool party for plants, and no water gets wasted!
Easy Peasy: You can reach every plant without stepping on others. No squished plant friends!
