Two Weekends of Fun!
November 16-17 & November 23-24, 2024

Get ready to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing with Uncle Mud! Known for raising free-range organic children in the wilds of suburban Ohio and building artsy, useful things out of mud and junk, Uncle Mud is coming to Jacksonville, Florida, to collaborate with Eat Your Yard Jax on an exciting outdoor community project.

In this hands-on workshop, we'll be renewing our beloved cob oven and possibly building a new one as we build an outdoor kitchen for our Permaculture Demonstration Site using the local sandy clay, straw, bamboo, whole trees, interesting rocks, and colorful bottles. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn the ancient art of cob building, foster a DIY can-do spirit, and strengthen our local community.
