Hello,
Myself, my husband, and my 2 daughters are looking for a homestead community to join.  We have wanted to change our lifestyle for years and we are ready for the plunge. My husband is an experienced electrician and has enough knowledge of construction/carpentry to build anything by himself. I myself work in the shipping industry but in my spare time I have a bakery and I specialize in making sourdough bread, bagels, pastries. I have experience breaking horses, raising horses, raising chickens, beginner gardener, and I am my husband's #1 helper. My daughters are 6 and 13. They currently go to private school but i would love to be able to homeschooling.

If anyone is interested in talking to us please email me or call!

Hi Lauren,

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for in terms of location, housing needs, or compensation, but all those things may be helpful for you to include here. I have off-grid forestland in southern Oregon, with some infrastructure in place and more being implemented each year. If the area is of interest, you can look through some of my other posts and learn more about me and my place. Most of the stuff is still applicable, though some is out of date.

Good luck in your search,
Leaf
