Hi folks! Just an introduction here as I am new to this forum/site.

I don't live a true 'permaculture' life ... but I support the movement. Like many of you, I would like to find a life partner who aspires to the permaculture way of life, but I realize that it might not happen. I do have a special person in my life but we have only just begun a process of discovering each other; who knows if it will blossom ... he lives very far away, and we are both at the point in our lives where happiness with an 'other' seems very often out of reach. Nonetheless, I remain hopeful despite the odds against it happening. I believe in love! I also believe many of us have baggage that we are reluctant to cast aside because it protects us from further emotional hurt. Ah well....

Good luck to all of you! I plan to check in on occasion to take the temp of the 'singles' community forum!

Yes, living far away can be problematic, but its good you are staying hopeful. I guess it just depends what expectations on each side of the equation and faith in it. I have a relationship with a foreign person and have not seen them for a long time, and we still keep chugging along.
It's weird that we cook bacon and bake cookies. Eat this tiny ad:
