I think one of the
best parts of attending a
Permaculture Design Course is the opportunity to cultivate deep friendships with people who share similar values of earth care, people care, and future care.
Two of my
PDC classmates asked me to be a part of their
permaculture design team over the past year to invest serious thought into their beautiful and rugged
land, which is very close to the nation's capital. I'm
super bummed that they are moving onward to new opportunities, but I am happy for whomever gets to steward their land next! Sharing here for you all...

As you know, we're selling our beautiful home, a.k.a Healing Creek Farm, in the Shenandoah Valley, and we’d love your help getting the message out!
Nestled on 26.7 acres of peaceful woodland, this property offers natural beauty, comfort, and eco-friendly living—only 1.5 hours from DC. You can use it as your main home (like we did), or as a country home near DC. You may even want to continue setting up the retreat center we had designed (more info on website).
Our dream was to build a homestead that serves as both a sustainability center and a wellness retreat. Over two years, we assembled an incredible design team and developed a full Permaculture plan for this stunning piece of land. You can learn more about the vision of Healing Creek Farm at www.healingcreekfarm.com. And you can get in touch with us via the contact form on the site. Here’s a link to the Zillow listing: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/200-Hahns-Ln-Toms-Brook-VA-22660/79279758_zpid/
Please share this with any friends who might be interested. We are hoping to find the right stewards for this special place within our network of friends.
Let the adventure begin!
P.s. The only caveat I would have is I don't think anyone can ever have a "full" permaculture plan. There's always more to consider in space and time!
