Hello Michigan Permies!

My name is Geoff and I am the new Gardening Educator at the Hunter Park GardenHouse in Lansing, MI (information on the GardenHouse can be found at http://allenneighborhoodcenter.org/gardenhouse/ or www.facebook.com/HunterParkGardenHouse). Each year, from January to November, the GardenHouse offers Saturday workshops, 1.5 hrs long, for the public ($5 donation recommended but not required). Past workshop topics have included season extension, organic pest/disease management, planning your gardening year, urban chickens, homebrewing, composting 101, seed starting/transplanting, etc. I'm currently planning the workshop schedule for 2014 and would like to know if anyone has interest in presenting. I have a long list of possible workshop topics but I'm also open to suggestions/collaboration if you already have something in mind!

We have a great community of urban gardeners in the Lansing area and workshops are typically well-attended and well-reviewed. So what do you say, permies? Does anyone out there have the itch to give a great workshop at the GardenHouse next year? Reply to this thread or email me directly at geoff@allenneighborhoodcenter.org if interested.

By the way, we offer a $25 honorarium for presenters
