Richard Perkins of has bought a farm to establish ridgedale PERMACULTURE, a pasture and perennial crop based beyond-organic local food producer and dedicated Permaculture educational hub in Varmland, Sweden. A flagship project for the region, ridgedale PERMACULTURE is Scandinavia’s first Keyline designed farm and a world class education provider in the fields of Permaculture & Regenerative Agriculture.

We are going to be offering intensive trainings from April 2014 onwards including a unique 10 Week Internship with over 530 hrs of curriculum based learning and 5 Certificate courses; including a 90hr+ PDC, Keyline® Design & Holistic Management®, Regenerating Soils, Forest Gardens & Perennial Cropping and Teaching Permaculture Creatively. These internships are designed to support dedicated students from around the world wanting a fast- track intensive & immersive learning experience that goes deep into design, planning, budgeting and managing holistically.

We are excited, and we are looking for 4 core members who want to take their learning to the next level who want to join us from early April through October 2014. Some roles have a stipend and all include top quality organic/ beyond organic food and simple accommodation in the beautiful heart of Scandinavia, where we farm amidst the elk, deer & wolves (oh, and did we say, the salmon run is just 500m up the hill!)

You will also get to participate in selected trainings and through your responsibilities will learn a huge amount to help fast track your own learning pathway. Working alongside a professional designer we encourage you to document your learning and build a portfolio just like the intern's will be doing, and can support you if you are on further education course, such as the Diploma.

The roles we are looking to fill currently are Farm Chef, Graphic Communication Expert, Garden Manager & General Farm Manager. You can find the prospectuses and applications online at

We look forward to hearing from you if you if you want to be a pioneer in this pioneering project....
