We are currently accepting volunteers for 2010 at our horse ranch/ nursery operation in the beautiful Caribbean: North coast of the Dominican Repermies.
This is a small, private ranch on top of a mountain with amazing views over looking the city of Puerto Plata and the ocean beyond.
In exchange for helping out in the gardens, composting, preparing new plots, weeding and all around general maintenance we will provide a private small cottage that is fully furnished, full bathroom (yes, with hot water), wireless internet and all meals will be provided.
Our goal here is to become sustainable, adopting permaculture and continuing to be fully organic.
We encourage horse lovers/ riders as this opportunity is working around and with the horses.
Working expectations are 30 hours per week and open to flexibility so that you can have plenty of time to experience all the Dominican Republic has to offer.
The city of Puerto Plata is just a 20 min. drive down the mountain to where you will find beaches, clubs, shops and other tourist attractions.
Transportation from/ to airport is also provided.
Passport required, visa is $10USD at point of entry and good for 3 months.
