Hi all!!
Been a long time lurker but decided to finally register so I thought i'd introduce myself. My name is Chris and i'm living down on the border of Mexico in the Chihuahuan Desert with my wife and 2 little girls. We've got a little place here we call "Timeless Ranch" that is basically off-grid + internet.
We're working hard to make our ranch more self
sustainable and we're experimenting with a number of things with our main focus being regreening of the desert by building trincheras , putting in ponds, etc. Our next
project is to complete a
rocket mass heater for our cabin so we can stop using propane and then we want to try to build a big pit
greenhouse for growing here in the desert.
It's all an experiment and we're learning as we go but if you want you can check out our blog to follow our adventures in off-grid living.
