I've had this book most of my life called: Handmade Houses. A Guide to the Woodbutcher's Art. By Art Boerick and Barry Shapiro, published in 1973.
There is a house with a hyperbolic parabaloid roof, timber (log) frame and beautiful.
I can't find any information about this place anywhere.
Does anyone know where this house is? Is it still up? Are there any other images of the place? I'd like to see more of this. I'm thinking to build a house and this is lovely, and I think it could be close to zero energy and nice to be in.
Anyone know about this?

Welcome to Permies!!!

I am staring at my original copy right in front of me now...great little book, and full of inspiration!

Ask Lloyd, I think he knows and has been there...

(Lloyd Kahn "Shelter" team author and bunch more great publication...Lloyd is a "hand full" but if he doesn't know, he will know who does...say hi for me!!!)

I am going to test your electrical conductivity with this tiny ad:
