WE-Design is offering a class for Do-It-Yourself gardeners:
Sustainable Urban Living, Weekend Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to apply principles of sustainable design and permaculture to their own home and garden to create a functional landscape. Workshop time will be evenly split between instruction in design and installing elements of a sustainable home ecosystem.


Learn how to:
*create a kitchen garden
*build & plant an herb spiral
*grow your own fruit,
nuts & berries
*attract wildlife
*catch & use rainwater
*raise chickens
*install drip irrigation
*install rain gardens
*build simple cloches &
hoop houses

Where: 4834 S. Brandon St, in Seward Park neighborhood
When: March 27 & 28, 10am-4pm
