Ok here is my idea on the subject (it might change in a while due to other idea's). As it should say in the subject it is a Gate, a Cantilever type one. One that you can Remote Control Water Powered. And use the Water for feeding/irrigation/water surplus needs. There will be a local Water storage on a barrel about 2 m high up, maybe commodating a solar screen on top. The higher storage will make sure that you can work without elevated water power lines. Should be able to do it on hillside with gravity fed ponds.

For the Cantilever Gates, I was thinking about a simple system where you use bamboo or something as a water storage or another type of water storage. See this water storage as the ballast to open the gate. Set the main water storage on the other side of the gate. place an extra ballast system on the other side to push start the closing of the gate. Wonder if the braces(water storages) would be enough. But my idea is it will need an extra push to open or close it. So maybe placing a same extra ballast pole on the place where the gate stops when full open.

For closing and opening the ballast tanks there could be some remote water pressured gauges which detect different power pressures. So you would only need on specific water line to control it. Still the system would work the same if you could open/close it with a string from your car or whatever(I do tend to be lazy) when you are in front.

Since a cattle Cantilever gate does not need to be that heavy, I think it should work. If anyone has idea's of anything up and running like this then please let me know. Maybe my system idea is to complicated to start of like this, but if there is anyone interested/willing in helping to get some (positive) information to share with others. Please by all means do post your idea's, rants, tests, ets.
