Greetings bee keepers...

We have a 31 acre location in north central Massachusetts where we would like to have someone place their hives there. We are working on our gardens (veggies and flowers) for the third year now and will be expanding the raised beds threefold. There are also large patches of wild low bush blueberries scattered about on site, which I think bees like too. I have been interested in the idea of honey bee keeping for years, but have never attempted it. Ideally, I would like to offer a spot for you to put some hives. I would like to find someone that knows what they are doing who is willing to teach me the basics and more. If you are too far away and you can teach me to care for the hives, then we can do some sort of split. I am willing to make a commitment to a fair exchange, a win / win situation. I do not live onsite, but most of the year during the spring, summer and fall I am there one to seven days a week. I live about seven miles down the road. I can visit more often if need be.

Anyone interested in working something out?
