We are a married couple for 14 years. We have worked on farms and ranches throughout Washington,(Organic Dairy, Equine and working croft as well as hundreds of gardens) as well as Arboriculture over 18 years and Dept of Ag work, Invasive species tech. The last two years we have worked for the Hort dept of Clackamas Community College, while updating with some Natural Resource and Sustainable Ag courses. Some of the tech areas we have worked are a 2 acre organic farm, two greenhouses, a veggie house, hoop house, can yard and several garden and vegetable beds. (Basically various duties of operation) We want to set roots, put these seeds in the ground, have space for sustainability classes and skills, a small market of natural goods. We also like pottery and woodwork. We prefer the Holisitc approach to gardening and orchard care. We have worked with youth and non profit for recovering Vets, a healing center. We have administrated small businesses and have business and marketing skills. But what we are really looking for is the ideal place in Oregon to start a business/non profit producing year round food and medicine, and demonstration garden to share sustainbility skills with others, write, and spend time working with the land creating a healing space that inspires others. We need land! We can build and do construction and are willing to build our own cabin, we are self sufficient, so don't have to have help with the work, just the space, but we do enjoy celebrating life with others, but also enjoy our privacy. So if you are looking for some people with a lot of skills and ideas who are ready to make it happen.
