Hello fellow Rocketeers,

There will be a workshop on how to build a Rocket Mass Heater and heated tub in the Sandpoint, ID area August 1 - 3. Chrys Ostrander of our own Spokane permaculture community did a wonderful write-up, please check it out http://spokanepermaculture.org/TabId/95/ArtMID/575/ArticleID/215/Rocket-Mass-Heater-and-Rocket-Heated-Bath-Tub-3-Day-Course-with-Hands-On-Training.aspx

The price is right, the expertise is world class and the community is just the type you'd want to hang with. Please let your friends know about this course. It will be something to remember and to use forever.

This is great, My wife and I were just watching How To Build Rocket Mass Heaters with Ernie and Erica. We are very green so it seems a bit daunting. It led us to the conclusion that we need to hire someone or get more experience. I am thinking of attending this, after all it is in my hometown.

BTW, do you know if anyone builds RMH's in the Sandpoint area?

Thank you,
Josh Tinley

I am building my first hybrid heater and it's fully documented here. People who attend the workshop are welcome to view it if the like. I am 15 miles north of Sandpoint.

Everybody's invited. Even this tiny ad:
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
