I have an acre of land in Central America. We have rabbits and ducks and manage and some veggies but i'd really like to learn more about permaculture. I experience rainy and dry season and live at a high altitude and I find that many books on gardening and permaculture are geared toward the four seasons of north america. I have a friend who can bring me a book or two down from the states. Can anyone recommend me a good read for a beginner in my dual season-mild temp-high altitude climate. I'd appreciate any advice.
