My wife of 11 years and I have recently had our first son and are eagerly looking to grow the abundance of love in our lives. About a year ago, we read “The Evolved Nest” by Narvaez and Bradshaw which helped solidify our long term suspicions that we genuinely desire a deep bond with an unconventional family/tribe paradigm focused on shared principles and values. In the time since, our perspective has been that the veil of societal norms have seemed to grow weaker and our ideal has only grown stronger.

We are hoping to find a likeminded, family/tribe focused woman to connect with. Someone to cultivate a true life partnership with where we all feel better off for having known each other. Someone to share our stable, peaceful homesteading life with. Someone to be vulnerable with, fully invest in and bond with for the long haul. Someone to raise children with and grow old together.

Together we (not the bank) own/steward 15 acres of beautiful fully fenced, unrestricted & secluded private property deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas about halfway between Dallas and Houston. Complete with 4 bed 2 bath home, shop, barn, shed, two large ponds and mixed pasture/silvopasture land. We have plans and resources to build another permaculture inspired private home on the acreage in the next year and are currently reviewing our best options.

Our vision is to grow our Permaculture homestead into a small scale regenerative family farm & food forest that can minimize and utilize waste as a resource, provide an abundance of yields to our family, our neighbors and community while allowing us all to live in harmony surrounded by nature and the animals we love so much. Together, building a functional ecology that we, and our children can continue to nurture, hopefully for generations to come.

We are apolitical, spiritually eclectic and do not proselytize, though we always enjoy a good philosophical discussion and highly value freedom of speech. Mindfulness, open communication, contribution and collaboration are all core values that help keep us focused on daily success, cohesion and progress towards our shared vision and individual goals.

We make a focused intent to primarily utilize technology to further our own goals and productive capacity rather than solely for entertainment. That being said, we are not luddites however we do not participate in social-media (outside of forums such as this), though that may change as we market our products and services that we offer in the future. We are intentional to avoid anything that endlessly scrolls with the intent to captivate, and will role model this for our children as well. We are both admittedly introverted and enjoy a quiet night in cooking, reading to each other or watching stand up comedy to relax and recharge together when work around the Grove is done for the day.

Our eccentric life paths have proven to us that we can manifest the ideals that we seek, no matter how off the “normal” societal paths we go. We are confident that it is but a matter of time before we meet our kindred spirit.

Will it be you?

If this post sings to you, if you think that we might be the connection you seek, then we encourage you to take a chance and tell us about yourself at EnchantedGroveTx@gmail.com or if you prefer send us a private message here on Permies.com.

If not, then we hope that we have not offended you with our dream, and we genuinely wish you the very best of luck on your search for meaningful connection.

Kindly,

-Lee & Rainy
