Mission Statement
We co-create a community to unlearn toxic lifeways of civilization and learn/practice/prove healthy lifeways useful to the Next Culture/New Earth. We are a group choosing consciously to survive the imminent Technocratic threats, in addition to economic/political/geophysical collapse, and to build together a cultural “Ark” for those inspired to move into the New Era. We are in service to the future, as we understand that all are One. May we set the stage for great possibility and achievement.
Why Does Halcyon Exist?
The impetus for deciding to create this sanctuary for humanity was the confluence of several major threats to our ability to live free and even to continue as a species. We name 3 of those threats below:
EMF (ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS/FREQUENCIES)
Through personal experience and extensive research, we have come to realize that there is serious damage caused to the body and mind, from both short-term and long-term accumulative exposures to the artificial electric, magnetic and radio-wave emissions from electronics (notably wireless devices) and also from the power grid.
In response to this knowledge, we have decided to live in a natural environment, free from artificial frequencies. Therefore we agree that a basic ground rule for this community is to not permit cell-phones or other wireless devices within or near the community. We live away from cell towers and other sources of wireless radiation.
We have a designated space for using electricity, away from our homes. We go there to access wired Internet (no WiFi) using laptop computers (with the wireless card removed). While we generally favor non-electric technologies and lifeways, the designated electric space may also be set up to use a few selected electronic devices or appliances, such as a freeze-drying machine for long-term food preservation, or perhaps some other device for which there is no viable non-electric alternative, or that we can agree has sufficient enough benefits to outweigh the harm.
In our homes, we enjoy the tranquility of living free of AC-electrical fields, where we can entrain with Earth's natural frequencies.
If you are EMF sensitive (and all of us are, albeit in imperceptible ways), we aim for this community to be a safe and healthy space for you and your family.
If you recognize that living in modern cities, towns and houses, filled with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and mesh networks, results in sickness and death, than you might be a candidate for our project. Just realizing our situation can be empowering, and even moreso when joining with others who value wellbeing, sovereignty, liberty, and peace.

THE BEAST SYSTEM
The Beast System is the term that we use to refer to Technocracy and Transhumanism. These are twin anti-freedom and anti-human currents that are being rapidly advanced throughout the world by basically every governmental body and much of the business/financial and medical sectors.
Technocracy seeks to monitor and control humanity under the tyranny of the algorithm. Features of Technocracy include: Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC)/ stable coins/ the likely-compromised Bitcoin, biometric identification (such as facial recognition), pervasive surveillance and sensors, data harvesting, AI analytics, social credit scores, “SMART” (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) cities and the general dystopian Chinese-style digital prison: where The Machine decides what you can eat, where you can go, where you will live, what you can buy, what types of employment and education may be available to you, what type of medical care you will receive, and with whom you will associate.
Transhumanism seeks to “augment” our biology with electronic components or genetic engineering/synthetic biology. It is a pro-cyborg pathology promoted by Technocrats. This is about total centralized control of the body and mind (and perhaps soul), with nanotechnology at the center. We understand that this is being done to humans without our knowledge nor consent. There is a war against humanity and most people are oblivious to it.
We champion organic humanity, and trust in the wisdom of Mother Earth and the Cosmos. We consider ourselves sovereign beings with free will and the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of our own happiness.
We understand that the key to the Beast System is the cell phone and therefore we all agree to leave our cell phones behind, for our personal and group safety. We move our communications to open-source platforms on our computers. Furthermore, the various IoT (Internet of Things) devices form a network of sensors that make up a global surveillance system. These devices are the eyes and ears of the Beast.
In response to these threats, we live rurally with a focus on self-sufficiency, organic food, clean water, fresh air, time in the sun (for you Jack Kruse fans), independent of the city. We do not eat commercial foods (processed or supermarket food laced with various contaminants). We choose natural remedies over conventional medicine (for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who has investigated Big Pharma). We don’t want to depend on anything from the Beast to live. Instead, we re-learn how to rely on Nature & count on each other. Independence & interdependence. This means that we strive for financial, energy, transport, food and water sovereignty, on land, that we manage.
We also realize that the Internet is a major source of surveillance and that the Beast is hunting those who oppose it. Luckily, there are many open source free software alternatives for private chat, email, search engines, video calling, and social media. If you intend to join our community and use the Internet, you will get to learn how to use Linux as your computer’s operating system (instead of Windows, Mac, or Android), and commit to only using open source software. This is to get the spyware out of our computers, as much as possible. You will also need to learn some networking protocols to fragment your online identity and hide our location. These are all community safety measures. We can teach you what you must learn. You just need to be willing.
Little by little, we are all being funneled into a control system. If you feel uncomfortable participating in a society based on facial recognition, 24/7 surveillance, and social credit scoring, and would decline a Universal Basic Income (“free money”) because you value self-reliance and wish to live the life of your choosing . . . if you love to have your hands in the earth or to work with animals . . . if you enjoy collaborating with like-minded people . . . then consider Halcyon Community.
We are at a time in history when everyone must make a choice. Do you choose convenience (followed by tyranny) or freedom? How do you want to live your life?

THE CATACLYSM
There is significant evidence that there is a disaster cycle of catastrophic events that occurs, according to most estimates, approximately every 12,000 years. The evidence for this is historical (religious scripture accounts and indigenous oral history), archaeological, geological and astrophysical science. We believe that there is significant enough evidence to think that the next global cataclysm is near (likely prior to 2050). We take seriously this threat and the preparations necessary to try to survive this event.
We are preppers. We stockpile the things needed to live (food, water, defense weapons, tools, supplies) and focus on basic practical skills: natural building, carpentry, blacksmithing, primitive skills, making clay vessels, weaving textiles, basket making, herbal medicine and traditional foods nutrition (fermented foods, whole fresh foods, raising grass-fed animals). We also appreciate art (visual, music making, theater and dance) to feed our spirits & enjoy life in community.
These skill sets and gear, plus a location at high elevation (to be above ocean displacement/tsunami threats during a pole flip) with underground shelter (to protect from solar emissions and cosmic debris, fire and heat, as well as weather extremes like wind, freezing cold, torrential downpours, massive lightning/electrical phenomenon, global earthquakes and land shifts, etc.) is a central focus for our group. When making decisions on how we allocate resources, we measure them considering our future safety and health.

Strategy
Our survival strategy is to retreat & co-create community. To live where EMF is low and away from cities (where the Beast System is strongest). We also choose to live in the Southern Hemisphere where nuclear war threats are much less and there is less surveillance/Beast infrastructure.
An interesting aspect about the third threat, the Cataclysm, is that it should (if our understanding of the magnitude of this event is correct) eliminate the first two threats: EMF and the Beast System. The Cataclysm would destroy all satellites, telecommunications, the electrical grid and probably most electronics. It would be a major reset and purification for the whole planet (as described by several indigenous traditions).
Our hope is that we can avoid being destroyed by the first threat (EMF), not be devoured/contained by the second threat (the technocratic Beast System) and somehow survive the third threat (Cataclysm).
By retreating, we hope to gain some time and stay out of the grasp of the Technocracy until it is eradicated. In the case that we are incorrect about the timing of the Cataclysm, then:
- We have lots of food and preparations for any type of disaster, which is never a bad idea.
- We hold out against the Beast as long as possible, enjoying what is left of our lives and freedom.
- We cultivate that most precious experience in life: warmhearted relationship.
In order to have the fortitude to thrive during Apocalyptic times, we each must develop our inner strength and mental and emotional peace. Many of us are still recovering from the traumatic experiences common in our culture. Our community supports the necessary healing processes, and we strongly encourage that every member commit to maintaining a regular spiritual practice. Whatever that may be (meditation, yoga, communing with Nature, prayer, etc.) is up to the individual. Our strongest survival skill is likely a firm knowledge of our spiritual identity.
We spend our time in Nature, taking care of our health, maintaining real human connection and relationships, growing and eating organic food, archiving knowledge that we wish to preserve for posterity, working on spiritual connection, honing our survival skills, stockpiling supplies and working towards self-sufficiency and independence from Babylon. If you have seen enough of the shit show and are done with that game, feel free to consider joining us.
