For the second year running, Anna's Tuin & Ruigte is offering the internationally recognised Permaculture Design Course (PDC). Over the course of 13 Fridays and two evening excursions (72 hours), you will learn what the permaculture design system entails and be given all kinds of tools to design, start and maintain your own project.
During the course, we share a wealth of knowledge on various topics, such as setting up a vegetable garden or a food forest, energy-efficient building and how to apply permaculture principles in your social life. You will learn to observe and analyse your environment, see many practical examples and practise creating designs.
On cold days, the theory lessons take place indoors at the Amsterdam Science Park, and when the weather is good, the lessons are held at Anna's Tuin & Ruigte. Anna's garden is a social and educational project with a vegetable garden, food forest, paint garden, bee and butterfly garden, and a large area of scrubland. It is a fine example of permaculture in practice and an inspiring place to learn.
