EcoDesign App — new planning tool for permaculture, farming & ecovillages

Hi everyone — I’m developing a tool called EcoDesign App aimed at helping permaculture enthusiasts, farmers, community-gardeners and ecovillage planners to design holistic, climate-aware and ecological projects.

Why this matters:
Many of us have great ideas for gardens — but struggle when it comes to matching soil, climate, water and plant choices to the site. EcoDesign App helps with site analysis, suggests suitable plants and layout strategies, and offers guidance on water management, soil improvement, and sustainability practices.

What you can do:

Try for free at https://earthunited.eco/ecodesignapp-intro.html

Upload your site data (soil type, climate region, water availability, existing vegetation) and get a draft plan & improvement suggestions

Share your feedback — what works, what doesn’t, what features or plant-types you need for your region

I’m keen to build this with input from permaculture practitioners — so your feedback will directly shape future versions. Looking forward to hearing your ideas and maybe seeing some community-driven projects planned with EcoDesign App!
