Hello Permies community,
My partner Lisa (45) and I (37) are looking for a work-trade opportunity somewhere in Southern California.
We’re both able-bodied, hardworking people with a deep interest in regenerative living soil systems, sustainability, and creating harmonious relationships aligned with people and the land.
We’re not looking for a hustle or grind lifestyle. We value presence, cooperation, meaningful work, creativity, and real human connection. We want to live in an environment that feels grounded, open-minded, and genuinely caring.
We’re happy to help with:
* Gardening and food production
* Soil building and compost systems
* General farm labor
* Land stewardship
* Animal care
* Building/maintenance projects
* Harvesting and processing
* Whatever needs doing
We’re reliable, observant, easy to communicate with, and willing to learn new systems quickly.
Ideally we’re looking for:
* A regenerative farm, homestead, orchard, or permaculture project
* Work-trade in exchange for housing/camping space and food or produce
* A peaceful, respectful environment
* Possibility for a medium- or longer-term stay if it’s a good fit
If anyone knows of opportunities or is looking for help, feel free to reach out.
Thanks everyone.
