Hi, I'm in a similar boat to you from what I can tell. I know how isolating it can be sometimes looking for a partner when you're really just seeking the lifestyle and the engagement with the natural world, but the majority of people seem to be doing it with some kind of ideological motive and creating a generic persona around that ideology instead of just embracing their experience. I'm 36, never married, no kids, and have never had the urge to procreate or get married because of fear of missing out. I've always just taken my life as it comes and don't rush into things that don't feel right. As far as my ambitions, I want to build a fruitful life with regenerative and permaculture practices with eco and energy friendly infrastructure. I love working the soil. My main hobby these days is improving the soil and watching the life that it can harbor with a little help, even in the arid west (with patience), and what it can provide. I also love the design and earth works that go into creating a sponge. My experiences with livestock are limited to chickens, but I would love to learn more and am very interested in rotational and regenerative grazing. I have 40 acres in the Trinidad, CO area, but I do absolutely love the Taos-Santa Fe area and it has always been a top choice for me as well. I'm currently working in Denver to save up money and have a little permaculture project going on here, but definitely looking to get going here soon. Maybe we could start up a conversation and see where it goes?
