There is a documentary project currently in the funding stages on Kickstarter for a film titled 'Island Earth' which uses Hawai'i as a case study to examine local, sustainable, and diversified agriculture. The film uses the GMO controversy in Hawai'i as a jumping off point but it does not take sides. It looks like a very interesting project and it's close to reaching funding goals so I thought I would share here with people that might find it interesting. I want to see this film happen so I want to see it get funded.
