GreenPath is social enterprise that teaches smallholder African farmers organic agriculture techniques to increase crop yield sustainably, and works with farmers on the post-harvest supply chain to ensure that the prices they obtain are fair and stable. We believe that by partnering with farmers, we can bring great benefits not only to these individuals, but also to the rest of the world by helping to increase global food supply sustainably.

Currently, we are running a pilot with 20 farmers in the Butajira region of Ethiopia and are in search of someone to lead this project. Specifically, we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who has a demonstrated passion for organic, sustainable farming and is eager to share their knowledge with others. The project leader would be responsible for designing a curriculum for teaching permaculture techniques to farmers, working directly with the farmers to improve the health of their land and increase crop yields, and leading the implementation of the pilot program. The position is a six-month commitment (with some flexibility and the opportunity to extend) and includes competitive compensation, as well as an equity stake in the company.
