I have meant for a while to put in the name of the book i have that tells you how to use egg yolk, yogurt, butter milk, glue, size and linseed oil and such as bases for pigments. Colours won't stick on your surface unless they are added to something that holds them together and to the page wall or whatever, be it the linseed of oil paints for doors and windows with resin and linseed oil or the lighter glues of water colours.

The book is called
Traditional Paints and Finishes.
The authors Annie Sloan and Kate Gwynn. Now i can put the book away, i have had it out for weks so i coul dtalk of it here.
Plastic paints have substances in them that are not good for our health and so probably do many other types of paints in our homes, the materials we use in our homes are part of ecological living. agri rose macaskie.
