Propane burner for scalding pigs.

When scalding pigs to remove hair, what type of propane burners are people using to heat their barrels up, and how long does it take. I am looking at propane stoves to buy, or maybe even build my own. Any help would be awesome.

I use a homemade torch just 1/2 inch pipe with 3/8 hole drilled in the end with larger pipe over the out side for air.

you can shoot a flame around 6 feet high with it will boil water quick.

I have it welded centered in an old wheel with legs on the wheel and grate over that.

Rocket stove would work great also
