Hi all

In this blog i will be sharing my experiences with a piece of land i have just bought and how im going to try and and turn it into my ideal mini farm and orchard. i will try out many techniques and ideas, ask for advice and generally document whats goin on. all comments and suggestions are welcome.

Details

Size: about 3/4 acre
Dimensions: 120 ft x 270 ft x 75 ft x 260 ft (weird trapezoid shape)
Dry/ Hot climate about zone 12 temp wise.
Elevation is about 3600 ft above sea level.

so far i'm working with a blank slate with only a few trees on the property. pics soon

First step fencing off the area!
