HI all! I am loving loving loving the PDC so far!

I was thinking we might start weekly threads here (or wherever the mods prefer) to discuss. I thought this would have a coupe of functions: 1) Folks who are on the fence about this class could see what things are covered 2) folks who have already had the class could chime in 3) folks who will never take the class could benefit and 4) Due to the way the forums and comments work on the website I can't find all of you

What do you think?

OK, so maybe the 'weekly thread' idea was a little ambitious This course has been so great that I have been spending any extra time watching lectures again and reading the comments. I have not really had the time to take advantage of the forums there yet.

I have to say- a great deal of the 'knowledge' I am hearing is not new to me. What IS new (and amazing) is how the random bits of facts, ideas, methods, and what-not in my head are being stitched together, making a holistic web in my brain. I am thoroughly enjoying this process!

How about you all? Has this been good for you as well? Have you had any difficulties with the format? I am appreciating the ability to pause the lecture at important moments- I need to let some things sink in a stew for a while.

I am really looking forward to the 'Patterns' section next week. That portion of the Permaculture Design Manual was a struggle for me- I could tell there were things that I just was not getting. I can't wait!
