Garden writer and former Cornell University fruit scientist Lee Reich will be holding a workshop on GROWING BACKYARD BERRIES on July 15th from 6:30 to 9 pm at his garden in New Paltz.

We will taste berries (of course!) and cover everything you need to know – soil preparation, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and, or course, harvesting --  to be on your way to picking your own blueberries, strawberries, currants, raspberries, juneberries, gooseberries, and blackberries. The cost is $35 with pre-registration until July 10th, $40 thereafter.

Enrollment is limited. Phone 845-255-0417 or email garden@leereich.com for more information.
