Hi, my name is Kim Soo.
I am interested in learning about farmers' markets and the people who make the markets happen, particularly within the realm of food democracy and resilient food systems.
I am working on a class project where I would enjoy hearing what others have to say about their experiences at farmers' markets.

I felt since this a group of permaculturists, it would be great to hear what you think of farmers' markets! If you are willing and have some time, I would be appreciative to have some people fill out one of the surveys posted in the subsequent posts after this one. They are for farmers' market vendors or patrons. Please feel free to write as much or as little as you'd like to!

The surveys can be sent to the email provided, posted on the forum, or purple mooseaged to me. Let me know if you wouldn't mind me following up with further questions as well! But don't worry, I won't do so unless you specify that it would be okay!

I really appreciate your feedback and I think it's really important to understand the people who are contributing to a better food system!
Thank you!

Farmers' Market Patrons:

Approximately long have you been going to farmers’ markets?

Approximately how often do you shop at a farmers’ market?

Why do you go (values, food variety, prices, convenience, etc)?

Pick the market you go to most often. How would you describe the market (please describe it in anyway you see fit!)?

Have you ever felt unwelcome or treated unfairly at a farmers market? If so, can you describe the situation?

Is there anything else you would like to share or comment on?

Thank you for your time! I really do appreciate it! Please feel free to email me at KimSooBarefoot@gmail.com if you have any other questions.

5. Overall, how have your experiences been selling at the market?

6. Have you had any negative experiences that stand out? If so, can you describe the situation(s)?

7. Are there any other comments you would like to express?
