Everyone is invited to a simply living fair and first ever Midwest Permaculture Convergence. This four-day event will include keynote speakers on organizing urban communities around sustainability and on training young farmers (Aaron Newton).

Friday includes and all-day introduction to permaculture with Rhonda Baird and Jessy Servi, a local foods dinner, and an opening plenary on permaculture in the region.

Saturday includes workshops on re-skilling, open space on permaculture in the Midwest, children's activities, a Keynote address from Aaron Newton.

Sunday includes tours to various projects and demonstration sites including the home of the Permaculture Activist (Keith Johnson, Peter Bane), Green Acres Neighborhood Garden (Ann Kreilkamp), and other permaculture sites; and finally, a closing plenary.

For more information, visit: www.simplylivingfair.org.

best,
Rhonda Baird

Very interesting to find that there was another "first ever Midwest Permaculture Convergence" in Lawrence, KS in the first part of August this year. Seems that we need to talk more.

So--for those of you that didn't make it to Kansas--we'll look forward to you coming to Bloomington.

First time on these boards...

...and yes, the MPC in Lawrence was life changing for me!

Warren Brush is a delightful fellow, teacher, story teller, and human being.

Wish I had known about the 2nd 1st Midwest Permaculture Convergence... I would have come on over...

I just had the craziest dream. This tiny ad was in it.
