semolina for pastured hogs

Has anyone used the small grain semolina in a pastured rotation? If hand sown a couple of days before rotation pigs feet would plant it and be ready to eat in a long rotation. Its high protien good food but practically unharvestable without super specialized equipment do to small grain size. I've seen this done with buckwheat, the pigs liked it.

I have heard of it but it isn't a resource we have so I haven't tried it.

Caution on buckwheat as it can cause photosensitization. I have seen that happen. As one of many pasture plants it is fine. But as a monocrop stand it was a problem.
