Hello everyone,I am new to the site and my name is Austin Sunmisola. I am strong, honest, responsible, clean cut, hard working,33 year old young man, intelligent and very ready willing to learn, work and looking to experience more in life.As a recent bio intensive agriculture and organic farming convert,i am now more delightfully interested in sustainable living, farming and permaculture design and a couple of literature i got online has further raised my interest and quest to have hands on practical as nothing beats real life experience.I am a graduate of Agriculture and major in Crop production. I am a Nigerian and live in the southwestern region in the city of Lagos.I have conventional agricultural experience both in college, working on my own and for a couple of farms and also non-agriculture oriented work experience.I recently got trained in bio intensive agriculture, soil fertility management, solar drying of fruits and vegetables and basic business management skills. I also have a reasonable knowledge of Animal Husbandry and integrated farming system. Based on my passion for working on soils, belief that farmers are stewards of our land and ecosystem, commitment to making a career in farming and learning to make it a way of life, i look forward to getting out of this experience, further in-depth knowledge and practical skills acquisition in the use of ecological(low cost, diversified and environment friendly) farm management practices, working with and learning from the farm educators, sharing in the broader vision of the land/farm owner and what it means to our world, learning the intricacies of the broader permaculture model design, homesteading, intentional community and eco village establishment, community supported agriculture framework, keyline plowing, greenhouse propagation, holistic management, use of various hand tools and equipment and other sustainable practices embarked upon in the farm. The fact that I am many miles away shouldn't deter or discourage you, would be willing and glad to travel or relocate if i am considered for a position. I am seeking a work-to stay situation with a stipend maybe,a short term, season long or long term living situation,or something similar is suitable. Hard work and long hours are not a problem for me. If you need something done I can do it, and if I don't know how to do it I assure you I will learn how and complete it. If you need either a work partner, collaborator, committed helper and/or willing to train and teach me, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, I have a good work ethic and am a go-getter.I want to learn and to work. I am in shape and healthy and I know I can be beneficial to your operation and a great addition to your crew. I will not take this opportunity lightly if considered, and I will prove my worth with my character and through my accomplishments. Please do not hesitate to contact me on email: sms_al @ ymail.com if I sound like a potential match for this opportunity,I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
